Get maximum energy efficiency in your home

One of the biggest concerns of modern cities is energy efficiency. Energy is a limited and expensive resource, and its inefficient use can have serious environmental and economic consequences in the future.

For this reason, at Renta Corporación we are completely committed to the development and implementation of innovative techniques and processes that manage to optimize energy consumption in buildings and, in this way, contribute to creating more responsible cities.

World Energy Efficiency Day is celebrated every March 5.. A date set to raise awareness among the population about the importance of making a rational use of energy and to promote renewable energy alternatives.

What is the energy efficiency of buildings?

We could define the energy efficiency of buildings as the optimization of their energy consumption while maintaining optimal levels of comfort for their occupants.

Some of the measures that can be implemented in buildings to optimize it to the maximum include the use of energy-efficient construction materials and technologies, the optimization of lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and the incorporation of renewable energies such as solar panels or geothermal energy systems.

Spain has set an energy efficiency target approved by the European Union that aims to reduce some 669 ktoe annually until December 31, 2030. This is included in the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan (PNIEC) 2021 – 2030, a piece key in the process, which is committed to modal change, traffic reduction, the use of collective public transport, sustainable mobility and the electrification of the transport sector. And of course, it also promotes the energy rehabilitation of the building stock.

Its objective is to make the population aware of the need to reduce energy consumption through its reasonable and sustainable use.

This is how we contribute to creating efficient cities!

One of the objectives that we pursue at Renta Corporación through the rehabilitation of buildings is to achieve maximum energy efficiency, reducing costs and minimizing their environmental impact.

In this way, we contribute to transforming the cities in which we operate, adapting buildings to the new needs of their occupants and the environment that surrounds them. We have made significant progress in terms of energy and economic savings in commercial and residential buildings in Barcelona and Madrid. In addition, we have contributed to significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the quality of life of the people who live and work in them.

Achieving optimal levels of energy efficiency in the building stock in our country is an important challenge for the future that we face. It is currently one of the sectors that consumes the most energy both in the construction and maintenance processes, directly impacting the environment and the cost of energy associated with the owners and occupants of the building. Energy savings can contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants associated with energy production.

In conclusion, our commitment to creating more efficient and sustainable cities is an important step towards building a more sustainable future that is respectful of the environment and people.
