Since its inception, Renta Corporación has always been particularly mindful of its corporate social responsibility. In order to channel various initiatives in this field, Fundación Renta was set up in 1999, its main goal being to work with different institutions and non-governmental and non-profit organisations to alleviate social issues and living conditions of the underprivileged
In 2007, social work developed by Fundación Renta has involved working closely with 150 organisations, allocating some 800,000 euros to supporting projects. The activities Fundación Renta drives and develops are in response to the changing needs of our environment, with the aim of leading or partnering in projects whose scope essentially focuses on the following areas:
Fundación Renta focuses its best efforts on contributions to non-profit NGOs specialising in the above areas, particularly in emergency situations, while it is always ready to involve itself in any other sort of project, provided that the social aim is justified.
Fixed Annual Covenants
Fundación Renta has certain covenants in place with several NGOs or associations, such as:
Furthermore, so as to diversify social aid as much as possible, Fundación Renta works with several organisations, focusing on intervention and resources in the above operating spheres. The result is involvement in projects with very different features, both in terms of relationship with beneficiaries and the type of cooperation provided. The following are some of the organisations with which Fundación Renta has worked: Fundación Talita, Fundación Catalana Síndrome de Down, Fundación Carreras, Fundación de Oncología Infantil Enriqueta Villavechia, Fundación Esclerosis Múltiple, Fundación FUNDESCO, Menudos Corazones, etc.
Of all the core principles governing Fundación Renta activities, the one that best summarises its essence is suitability of the projects it funds, which must necessarily have a clear social component and aim to improve quality of life of the more disadvantaged.
